Part 9 - Fitting the Hands

After some serious rooting about in my various parts drawers.. I found a bag..
Labelled "Secs Hands for Pocket Watches".. I don't remember acquiring it but it sounds like just the ticket.

There were quite a few little hands in here, most of which just didn't fit the pinion on our Waltham watch. After a little experimentation, though.. This will do nicely..
Quite in-keeping with the style of the watch.

Now, on with the hour and minute hands, making sure that they line up at 12 o'clock together (you'd be suprised how many newbies forget that bit)..
...and we have a very handsome dial face.

Next, comes case polishing and casing the watch to complete the job.

Onwards..
